Ok so I spent all of last night looking for my shoes!! They seem to have gone walkies, this can only mean one thing....gota buy a new pair! Again, this is an issue that couldn’t be helped so i’ll take it as a sign!
I took coco for her morning walk through the park, met a very handsome young man on my way. Unfortunately his dog decided to run and jump on me with extremely muddy paws. Thankfully I was wearing my black anorak from Primark so I didn’t mind too much. Maybe he’ll be there tomorrow (the owner not the dog that is).
Anyways.....Friday is only 4 days away and I’m needing some new heels to go with my outfit. I’m wearing a black velvet dress from Miss Selfridge which I haven’t worn yet! Its one shoulder and very clingy so I gota bring out those Bridgette Jones knickers to keep me in! And I’m thinking a nice pair of colourful heels would go nicely with this number. It’s good to add some colour if your wearing a LBD, or if you’d prefer add some sparkle with extra accessories. Colourful suede heels are really in at the mo! And I love it when I can match my shoes with my lippy.
So I went along to Office to have a browse and I saw the ‘look’ shoes! There actually really nice...ok so they are £88 but they are lush; a ruffled front with boho tassels, not to mention the dancefloor-friendly ankle strap platform and they come in bronze, red and black suede. But unfortunately these would be breaking the bank, so it was on to the next store. New look had some lovely suede berry coloured heels for £29.99... they were really simple and seemed comfy too but the colour was slightly too dull for my black velvet dress. I knew I could find something better!
You know when you’re willing to spend money and you’re going into every store on the high street trying to find that one item but cant? Well that was today, and I soooo nearly gave up, but thank god I had to pass Miss Selfridges to get to the library. I found them! £40 in a lovely plum colour. Ok so they were a bit more expensive than New look but the colour was perfect. Thank god!
Now all I needed was some purple lipstick (which you can find almost anywhere). Chloe lent me her’s from MAC, colour ‘Dark side’ @ £12.50 which matched my shoes perfectly! Then I added my final touch...a Topshop scull pendand which was £12 but I found it for £4 in the sale!!!! I love this look, Let me know what you think. X
