Christmas Gifts for The Girlies! x

I can’t believe it’s the 1st day of Christmas tomorrow! It’s so exciting. The girls and I are putting up our Christmas tree to get us into the festive spirit. I spent my day decorating the flat with tinsel and then taking a nice stroll through Richmond Park with Coco in my new winter coat before heading into Richmond to pick up some Christmas gifts for my girls. Every year we give each other a small pressie from the high-street to unwrap before we go on our Christmas break. Have a look at what I bought today.
The cinema last night was really good, I’m still getting to know the boy, but he’s really sweet...so far so good!...truthfully I can’t stop smiling.

Snuggle up in these Winter coats!

Good afternoon girls! I’m off to the cinema soon, another date with the boy! So today I went in search of a winter coat. It’s getting so cold now. This morning was -2 degrees and I was out de-icing my car wearing millions of layers plus mittens and 3pairs of socks! Lucky for Coco she has a fur coat and stays inside most of the time snuggled next to the radiator. But we don’t get fur that cheap so I was off in search of some good buys again. I didn’t want to spend anymore than £80, that was my budget..So everything I found was affordable.
Enjoy my finding of today! I’m off out, until tomorrow lovelies! X

Madison's looks of the week!

I was so excited to get typing for today’s post. I had the best night on my date yesterday. I ended up wearing my trousers and boots with the new look white and black heart print crop-top. I’ll post a pic of it for you. So the boy took me to this lovely restaurant in Chiswick which was so romantic. I had such a nice time, he could be bf material!! And we’ve arranged another date on Monday, but this time we’re going to go and see a film.
Today I thought I’d stay home and leave shopping until Monday. So it gives me a chance to look over my wardrobe and pick out my fave styles of the week. If there’s anything you would like me to search next week just email me!! Have a good Sunday X

Handbags and Gladrags

Afternoon girlies..I hope your all well and enjoying my new findings!
I called Chloe as soon as I woke up this morning! Then we decided to meet for lunch and have a pamper day so I was all ready for my date tonight. We got a quick manicure and spray tan before hitting the shops. I was in search for a good handbag. I usually get mine from River Island but the lining can sometimes rip really easily. So I decided to look around first.
Seeing as I love the berry colour that’s really popular at the moment, I decided Topshop’s box bag for £33 is a fave of mine. Topshop also have a good sized black bag called ‘the Amelia bag’ for £49 which seems reasonable for its size and material. M&S have some good bags at the moment and you can always count on good quality with them. I found this limited collection body bag with an adjustable strap and for only £25 I think it’s really cute and kinda vintage looking. Mango had some cute clutches and this handbag for £27.90 caught my eye, I like the size and shape of it with its cute draw strings.  By this point there was only so much me and Chloe could handle with the bag search...there are so many choices of colours and sizes! If money were no option I’d buy them all....as well as space being a big issue, my poor flat. So I chose to have a quick look in Zara and River Island before heading home with or without a handbag. Zara had this cute small but beautiful city bag in grey suede with a silver chain for £59.99. I know it would go so well with my wardrobe but I just couldn’t afford this one. It all came down to River Island, where I found a very stylish black handbag; with both a handle and a strap to use over your shoulder. The size is perfect and @ £39.99 I was happy to go home with Chloe.
We’re now back at mine deciding on what to wear for this date later! He’s coming to get me at 8 so I better dash, got so much to do! Hope the handbags inspired you! Have a great evening ladies and I’ll fill you in tomorrow! X

Date Night!

Good afternoon fellow fashionistas! Happy Friday! I’m out tonight with my girls and finally wearing my new shoes with my LBD. Exciting stuff eh? I love the feeling of wearing a new outfit.
Anyways, today I went on a hunt for some smart trousers or shorts for my date tomorrow eve with the boy. I have to look good but not like I’ve made a huge effort, so trousers or shorts with tights are the perfect idea. It’s important to find a store that has well fitted trousers for your shape, because you might like a style but if it doesn’t suite your figure you won’t do your body justice. I can always rely on Topshop trousers and jeans but my friend Chloe on the other hand is never able to fit into their jeans! She’s always in between sizes. I had nothing to wear for my dinner date, so I pretty much had to find a whole new outfit.
Because of my curvy figure, I find harems very hard to wear, I have a tiny waste but bigger hips so any trousers that sit on my hips make me look a lot bigger. It just meant it would take longer to find a good pair that would accentuates the better parts of me. In order to save money I decided to wear my black wedges from New Look @ £59.99 which I got last week with Chloe, she has them in beige. We love to match!
I decided to go for wide leg trousers and found two from Topshop, the first ones where wide flair, black and fitted my waist perfectly but @ £80 I couldn’t bare to spend that much. Then I spotted another pair @ £40 which is a much more affordable price and pretty similar. They sit a little lower on the stomach but fit nicely and with wide leg, they skin down your curves and give you a great silhouette. All I needed now was a top to wear with it! I usually go to New Look to get some cheaper tops and they usually have some pretty lace tops. I found a few that I liked so I bought them all, just so I had the choice before my date. The first is a scull print crop top only £4 and the other at the same price are white with tiny black hearts (a bit more right for the occasion I think). Then the 3rd is black lace with small pink flowers for £9.99. This one I would wear a small black top underneath and only a slither of my stomach would be on show. I’m sure I’ll have a jacket lying around to go with this outfit....oooh the nerves are kicking in!!!  But for now I better get ready for my night out with the girlies so speak to you tomorrow! X

These Boots Are Made For Walking..

omg the boy just text me!! He’s taking me on a date Saturday night, picking me up at 8 from mine eeek... I’m so nervous! I’m going to have to think about what to wear, any ideas?
No rest for the wicked! I’ve got a full weekend ahead of me now, out Friday and sat night. For now I need to buy some new winter boots. Walking coco in this icy weather is making my toes freeze. The Primark boots I have may be cheap but they sure don’t last long. I need some that are comfy for walking in and waterproof.  I’m going to have to search thoroughly for the best pair!
I think this cold weather makes me become a right fatty, I’ve been scoffing my face with tiger bread so much! I had it for toast this morning then with my soup for lunch...what is wrong with me? Does anyone else find the cold brings pounds to your figure?
I hope you’re all enjoying the knits I posted the other day, I’m wearing my H&M jumper right now, and it’s so lush! Coco is so cute; she’s curled in a ball on my fur rug trying to keep warm too. That’s living the student life I guess. So my new boots: the day started off really well actually, I came across Miss Selfridge’s sale and fell in love, these suede clog ankle boots where £70 now reduced to £35! That’s an offer I couldn’t walk away from. They would look so good with black tights and a nice dress, or even jeans and a cosy jumper. Heels always flatter a woman, whatever her shape. In New look they had a nice pair, lighter suede and with a wedge which is that bit more comfy as there’s more surface area to hold your weight. The fur around the top is really in at the moment and for £24.99 there not bad, only issue is there probs not very waterproof but they seemed very warm. For a bit more @ £26.99 New look also do a good biker boot pair in two different shades. I like the washed grey look. I find this style can be hard to wear and if you’re not careful you could look like a bit of a lad but if you team it up with something a bit more feminine it looks great, and the low chunky heel is very comfy, plus no rain will be getting in their! Next are doing some decent boots at the moment, I don’t tend to shop in there that much but these khaki boots for £85 are very nice and the stirrup is very fashionable at the moment.  How funny, I just went in to Topshop and saw some pretty much identical boots to the ones I found in New Look but these are £50!! That’s like £23 more! Which ones do you think are nicer? I ended up buying these beige and cream fur wedges from River Island which were £65. Since I’ve been home I’ve had them on keeping my feet very warm. Thumbs up!
I also had a browse on very.co.uk when I got home. I wanted to see if they had any decent priced shoes and I found a very sexy pair of black knee high boots for only £45. They are sooo nice but you have to be careful they fit around your leg right, and as your buying online you might have to return which can be more haste than its worth.
I’m so excited it’s finally Friday tomorrow!! It’s my favourite day of the week and now I have my boots I can have a comfy, cosy stroll with Coco tomorrow morning. X

T.shirts for Tucking in...

No news from the boy...but I guess he’s playing it cool. I’ve just broken my Twitter Virginity! Took me a while to get started but take a look and follow me! @littlemadison..
Anyways today I went in search of some good T-shirts’ to tuck into my high waisted Topshop jeans. I stopped off at River Island and got this cool black T saying ‘Love it, heart it, want it’ which is £19.99 and I got it in a size bigger for that extra bagginess. Then you’re able to wear it with a skirt and a cute waist belt.  Zara have this sweet little T with a dog on that reminded me of coco so I had to buy it!! Its only £9.99 so why not? Thought the image was funny, a dog with a moustache...that’s a new one! Zara  also have this nice mustard floral top which is better for this cold weather. I thought the colours would look great with denim and it’s a reasonable £19.99. Urban Outfiters have a wicked T.shirt!! A bit more pricy @ £32 but I could mix it up with leggings, jeggings, jeans or a skirt! And the message ‘Friday I’m in love’ (lyrics from a song) make it uber chic.
I better dash, off to the cinema tonight, until tomorrow fellow fashionistas! X

Keep your Pins warm & your toes Snug!

I’ve decided I’m wearing leggings wayyyy to much! I need to start showing my legs a bit more. Then again I can’t bare this cold weather, and I refuse to look like a frump in my granny style tights and dads old socks which the moths enjoy. So its time to update my draw of tights and maybe find some cute socks to keep my toes warm. Boots are selling really well at the moment; there’s so many to choose from, I’ve got about 3 pairs and still manage to need more! But you can change the look of a boot by adding a nice pair of socks which poke out the top.
But before I show you my new purchases I must fill you in with the guy goss! ...so Coco and I were taking our morning stroll and I saw that guy from yesterday!.. He looked so good, wearing a parker jacket and a very nice pair of dark grey washed boots. Ladies don’t you worry, I totally made an effort. Of course when it comes to guys you’ve got to look like you just threw any old thing on and just happen to look gorgeous...but oh no I must of tried on about 6 different outfits this morning! Just in case he was there. Poor Coco waited patiently by the door after I had chosen my outfit. A mushroom coloured jersey dress from Asos which was £24 with black woollen tights and my junky black boots from Primark for £18! Bargain.  I thought Ide sit down on the bench while coco sniffed around the play area. But that was a big mistake! I must of been staring at this guy while his dog and Coco became somewhat acquainted. Then I realised he was shouting and running towards the play area and turned around to see what the fuss was about.  There they were, Coco and this somewhat bigger dog having ‘fun’ with one another! He grabbed his dog of Coco and I scooped her up, and thanks to their ‘attraction’ we got talking. Now he has my number so the waiting game begins!! Eeeeek.
You can imagine how I skipped to the shops after that. I started in Oasis and got some really sweet heart patterned black tights for £10. Patterned tights can make a plain outfit a whole lot more interesting. Then I got the 3 socks for £8 @ Topshop, I chose some really sweet heart patterns and a cute grey pair with small white bows. I must have been in a really girly mood, or maybe the fact my crush had MY NUMBER in his phone made me become slightly addicted to heart prints.
Topshop also have these cute ankle socks with fur which would look great inside some boots. There £7 and come in grey or cream. They also have these sweet over the knee, sheer heart socks in black. They look like tights and I think they would look adorable with some black heels for a night out.
I must tell you about my £12 tights from River Island, there designed by Henry Holland and look just like your wearing suspenders ! It’s a VERY sexy look and I’m dying to wear them out with a long T.shirt and my Topshop ankle boots!
I’ve noticed how semi precious stones have become really popular within high-street jewellery. I’m always up for buying a new necklace to jazz up a plain top. Asos do a genuine fossil pendant on a long silver chain for £16 which is just stunning. I found two beauties in Topshop. A turquoise stone hanging from a long gold chain for £8.50, and a black agate slice on a silver long chain for £12.50. Then I went to one of my fave stores!! River Island. They always have nice jewellery and I spotted this pair of earrings that reminded me of Cheryl Cole’s Vivienne Westwood danglers. These are black globe danglers with diamante inset and are only £5.99 (A bit of a diff from Cheryl’s eh?!). Last but NOT least is this gem, quite literally, for £9.99 which is just so pretty.
Tomorrow I’m planning on finding some nice T.shirts to wear with my high-wasted jeans!! So I’ll keep you posted! X
